I remember you guys in New York, 1971. It was a cold winter and Dan Hambel had joined you as a guitarist. Dan and I were staying in Harlem as you recorded at the Record Plant. Always loved your music.

Was there a guitarist by the name of Jimmy Peel who played with the group for a time?

Heard you guys on KRTH 101 this morning. Also saw you with Jimi Hendrix and The Who at Anaheim Convention Center sometime in the '60s. I don't remember exactly when, but you know what they say. "If you can remember the '60's, you weren't there."

Met Randy at happy hour at El Callejon in Encinitas this evening, and he mentioned a local gig coming up, but I couldn't find it here. Any info???

If you remember me back when you first recorded in LA at A&M studios. Ed had to get his mom to sign papers allowing me to take you kids on the road. You guys were shooting hoops on the back lot of A&M waiting to get in a studio. Man was that a long time ago! WOW And you are still playing?

My second rock concert was you guys and Steppenwolf at the Sam Houston Coliseum in Houston, Texas. I think it was in 1968.

    Hey Mark,
How are you doin’? I live in Northwest Arkansas now, and it has been a while since I last saw you.
That ws in Joplin, Missouri when you guys came and filled in for the no-show Box Tops, as I recall. You were so tired, you could barely perform.
