The Strawberry Alarm Clock returned to the famed Sunset Strip rock club Whisky a Go Go for an epic Nov. 17 show.
It was the fourth Whisky appearance in a dozen years for the veteran psychedelic music band out of L.A.
Support for the Saturday night show came from Stacy Stone, 79′, Tiki McPherson and Frank Fois.
The venue and musicians go way back. SAC bassist George Bunnell, top photo, notes that “three of us from the band, Randy Seol, Steve Bartek and I, played the Whisky in 1969 as Buffington Rhodes with 10 Years After and Chicago!”
The Strawberry Alarm Clock’s most recent album is “Wake Up Where You Are.” That CD will be available at the show, as well as fresh band merch such as psychedelic logo T-shirts and coffee mugs. Look for a psychedelic light show.

I am so stoked I got to see SAC at the Whiskey in January π my favorite band I have seen by far! I am hoping to see them again in November!!! I am so sad to hear about the legendary Ed King, my condolences to the family and I feel for the band. Love you all and thank you for the greatest psychedelic trip I have experienced! πβ°β€οΈ
