Wake up, SAC fans! The Strawberry Alarm Clock is set to ring in the new year with a January show at L.A.’s Whisky a Go Go.
The Jan. 11, 2025, concert will feature the full band as well as visuals by Robert Jacobs’ Midnight Sun and Andrew Platt with his Stranger Liquids Light Show.
Buy tickets now for the big Saturday night show.
The concert will be the L.A. band’s 10th appearance in over a dozen years at the historic Sunset Strip rock venue, headquarters for the psychedelic scene of the 1960s and still going strong. It comes a year after SAC helped the Whisky a Go Go celebrate its 60th anniversary, headlining one of a series of 1960s-related shows.
One fan wrote of that concert: “Very inspiring watching these guys, who released their first album in 1967 … playing to an audience that still loves them.”
The Strawberry Alarm Clock are keyboardist Mark Weitz, bassist George Bunnell, drummer Randy Seol, guitarist Howie Anderson, percussionist Gene Gunnels and multi-instrumentalist Steve Bartek.
The January concert also features Neil Soiland and DJ Lady Bug spinning records between sets.
Fans can help support SAC’s new album via a GoFundMe page.

A fan from halfway across the planet here, would love to see some sort of video recording of you guys playing, if you can make it happen for those unable to travel across the seas. Great to see you’re still around and I hope the recordings are going swell!

I’ve been to 8 straight whisky shows, missed the last one due to back surgery, I’m planning on the January show, they blew me away, every time I’ve seen them, can’t wait
